Serghina is a premium, hand-rolled incense made from the roots of the Corrigiola thelephifolia plant. Serghina is used in religious ceremonies, weddings, and engagement parties for aesthetic, aromatherapy and meditation reasons to create a pleasant, relaxing ambiance. The term incense is used for either the material or the aroma and refers to an aromatic biotic material that releases fragrant smoke when burnt. Serghina incense is usually prepared by women in the Moroccan cities of Fez or Marrakech who are expert in mixing "Boukour" scents and burners using a traditional method that has been passed down through generations, ensuring a high-quality product.
Serghina is mixed with other scents like Musk, Amber, Orange Blossom and Essential oils. The combination of these elements create a unique and enchanting scent. Our Serghina incense comes in a mini carved wooden box; it can be burned on a charcoal or incense burners called "Mbakhra."
